KSOD was created with the intent of giving artists a place to share their experiments without the concern of marketability. Not only do we encourage collaboration, but the free sharing of knowledge in general. Artists are able to write and publish tutorials on any subject pertaining to their craft and the diy media scene in general. This not only allows one to share his/her ideas with other artists, but will hopefully provide a valuable resource for a future generation.

KSOD sells all physical releases with the intent to distribute new and exciting works...not to make money. Items are sold with the intent of breaking even on production costs. The artists make no money from the work they do here, but neither do we. By eliminating the possibility of making money from our projects, we hope to remain true to our passions. We release cd's and dvd's simply because we want to see more work like this produced elsewhere. Furthermore, it allows us to help promote the work of the artists we love.
